Mechanical Assembler

6 Month Contract (possible extension) 

Pay: Inside IR35 £17.00 - £20.00 per hour PAYE (DOE) 

Hours: 37.5 hours per week 

ReeVR Talent are looking for a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our clients assembly team, to support the build and integration of their products.

Key Responsibilities for the Mechanical Assembler: 

• Assembly and fitting of precision mechanical components and sub-assemblies
• Work from detailed mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, and BOMs.
• Carry out basic alignment, fitting, and testing of assemblies to tight tolerances.
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
• Liaise with design and engineering teams to identify and resolve assembly issues.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to 5S and health & safety procedures.

Requirements for the Mechanical Assembler:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Assembler
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings and schematics.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, torque tools
• Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.
• Available for immediate start or short notice.
