• Deliver engaging Maths lessons following provided plans
• Teach a range of mathematical topics including number, algebra, geometry, and statistics
• Support the development of problem‑solving and analytical thinking skills
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners
• Assess and record pupil progress when required
• Contribute to departmental collaboration during longer‑term placements
• Promote positive attitudes towards numeracy and independent learning

Ideal Maths Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge across the Maths curriculum
• Confident behaviour and classroom management skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire learners across different year groups
• Adaptable across a variety of school settings
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
