Job Title: MIG & TIG Welder

Salary: £35,000 – £36,500 per annum (DOE)  

Hours: Monday–Thursday 7am-16.15pm & Friday 7am-12pm

Contract: Permanent  

Location: Northamptonshire

An established precision engineering manufacturer is seeking a skilled MIG & TIG Welder to join a highly qualified welding team.

Key Responsibilities for MIG & TIG Welder

• Carry out MIG and TIG welding for the production of high-precision components
• Set and operate the robot welders
• Carry out basic assembly-related work such as expanding, pressure testing
• Support the Production Engineering department in developing and maintaining shop floor documentation.

Experience & Skills Required for MIG & TIG Welder

• 5 years of TIG welding experience within a high-technology production or manufacturing environment.
• Experience welding stainless steel to a very high standard.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Excellent accuracy with good speed and consistency across welding and related tasks.
• Good interpersonal and team-working skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Recognised engineering/welding qualification
• MIG welding experience.
