Computing Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing role from April 2026

- Teach Computing across relevant secondary year groups
- Deliver some Maths lessons at KS3 level as required
- Plan and deliver well‑structured, engaging lessons
- Adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs and abilities
- Support pupils in developing digital literacy, problem‑solving, and computational thinking
- Maintain a calm classroom environment with consistent behaviour expectations
- Assess progress and provide constructive feedback
- Contribute to departmental planning and collaborative curriculum development
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Computing
- Confident to teach KS3 Maths as part of the timetable
- Strong subject knowledge across Computing and programming fundamentals
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
- Able to motivate and challenge learners of mixed abilities
- Good communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
- Reliable, proactive, and committed to delivering high‑quality teaching
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being
