Electrical Engineer (Static Site)
Location: Bishopsgate, London
Salary: £45,000
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently recruiting for a Static Electrical Engineer to join a facilities management team based at a prestigious site in Bishopsgate. This is a permanent, site-based role offering stability and the opportunity to work within a professional commercial environment.

The role will involve carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the site, ensuring all electrical systems and associated building services are operating safely and efficiently. There will also be an element of multi-skilled work required to support the wider maintenance team.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical systems
• Fault finding and repair of electrical plant and equipment
• Maintenance of lighting, power distribution and emergency lighting systems
• Support minor mechanical and general building fabric tasks when required
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Complete maintenance reports and ensure records are kept up to date
• Liaise with subcontractors and site management as necessary

Requirements

• Level 3 electrical qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent) – essential
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations – essential
• Experience within commercial building services or facilities management
• Strong fault-finding ability
• Ability to carry out basic multi-skilled maintenance tasks
• Good communication and organisational skills
