A great opportunity has arisen for a Lettings Negotiator to join this long rooted, local independent estate agent in Solihull. My client has a wonderful traditional style and a quality local reputation to match. They have a rare opening within lettings are looking for a conscientious, customer service driven negotiator to join them.
Lettings Negotiator – Benefits
- A basic salary of £27,000
- OTE of £33,000 (Commissions and bonuses)
- 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Lettings Negotiator – Duties
- Play an active role in building and promoting the company’s brand and reputation within the local marketplace
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing landlords, ensuring properties are let quickly, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Proactively generate and book viewings for available stock, delivering an excellent customer experience
- Gather viewing feedback and confidently negotiate lets to achieve the best outcomes for landlords and tenants
- Organise and manage all pre-tenancy paperwork with accuracy and attention to detail
- Handle incoming calls and emails from tenants and landlords in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner
- Act as the face of lettings for the Solihull branch, representing the business with confidence and driving brand awareness
Lettings Negotiator – Experience Needed
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within lettings, property, or a sales environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with landlords and tenants
- Confident negotiator with a proactive and target-driven approach
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly when managing pre-tenancy paperwork
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, approachable, and well-presented, acting as a positive ambassador for the business
- Competent IT skills, including email, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
