A welcoming and well-regarded primary school in the London Borough of Sutton is seeking a qualified Year 4 Primary Teacher to join their team for the Summer Term on a full-time basis.

The Role

The successful candidate will take on full class teaching responsibilities for a Year 4 class. Pupils are enthusiastic, well behaved, and keen to learn, and the role offers the opportunity to support them during an important stage of their Key Stage 2 journey as they continue to develop independence and confidence in their learning.

The school is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic teacher who is committed to making a real difference to pupils’ learning and wellbeing. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys inspiring children, creating engaging lessons, and helping every pupil reach their potential.

You will work closely with the Year 4 team and supportive senior leaders to ensure a smooth transition into the role. The class may include pupils with Special Educational Needs, and you will be supported by experienced Teaching Assistants where appropriate.

Person Specification

The school welcomes applications from qualified Primary Teachers with previous KS2 teaching experience, although confident ECTs will also be considered. A secure understanding of the KS2 curriculum is essential, along with a positive, adaptable, and collaborative approach to teaching.
