Maintenance Engineer

Location: Doncaster
Salary: £47,329
Shifts: 3 week Rota

week 1  Monday to Friday 7am-3pm

Week 2  Monday to Friday 7am-3pm

Week 3 Monday to Friday 2pm-10pm

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturer in Doncaster. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer with a strong electrical background and a good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities of this Maintenance Engineer role: 

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on equipment
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability.
• Work collaboratively with the engineering team to minimise downtime.

Requirements for this Maintenance Engineer role: 

• Multi-skilled engineering experience (electrical bias preferred).
• Motors, sensors and fault finding on Panels and PLC's
• Single and 3 phase motors
• Strong understanding of PLC systems.
• Ability to work early and late shifts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Maintenance Engineer Benefits:

• Salary of £47,329
• Up to 5% bonus
• OT during the week is 1.5x, weekends and BH is 2x
