Job Description:

Electrician

Location: Burnley
Reports to: Electrical Supervisor

Are you an Electrician who thrives on building complex machinery from the ground up? Do you want to join a fast‑growing engineering operation where you’ll work on huge, high‑spec industrial systems—not just standard panels or small‑scale builds? If you’re confident, hands‑on, and ready for a role where no two builds look the same, this Electrician position could be exactly what you’re looking for.

You’ll be joining a driven, energetic team of electrical engineers known for their collaboration, ambition, and pride in their craft. As an Electrician, you’ll become a key anchor point across full machine build activity, setting standards, supporting juniors, and leading by example on the shop floor. If you’ve ever wanted a role that genuinely stretches your engineering capability, this is it.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this highly practical and technical role, the Electrician will:

Work on full machine builds including bench work, sub‑assembly, wiring, pumps, motors, fans, and full system integration.

Read and interpret electrical drawings with confidence, turning complex schematics into reality.

Support and mentor younger electricians, helping shape the next wave of talent.

Work across large‑scale, physical machinery builds without being phased by size, scale, or complexity.

Assist with installations, wiring runs, panel build tasks, and general electrical assembly.

Carry out occasional off‑site work when required (rare—typically 1–2 times per year).

Contribute to a high‑performance engineering culture built on pride, precision, and exceptional craftsmanship.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed as our Electrician, you'll bring:

Experience in machine wiring, panel build, pumps, fans, motors, or special‑purpose machinery.

Confidence working on large, physical, industrial machinery—no hesitation in handling scale.

Qualifications such as Level 3, 18th Edition, HNC, or City & Guilds (flexible depending on experience).

2391 inspection & testing experience (advantageous).

Any experience supporting apprentices or junior engineers (a real bonus).

A practical, proactive mindset and the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast‑paced build environment.

A readiness to take on a hands‑on, physically active job with some confined‑space elements (outdoors, not enclosed).

What You’ll Get

Strong overtime availability: x1.5 Mon–Sat / x2 Sundays

Long‑term progression toward further qualifications (e.g., HNC, 18th Edition)

A chance to work on unique, world‑class machine builds

A collaborative team culture with technical excellence at its core

Immediate interview availability — ASAP
