Maths Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary cover from April 2026 until July 2026

• Teach Maths full time across relevant secondary year groups
• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with curriculum expectations
• Support pupils’ progress in numeracy, reasoning, and problem‑solving
• Adapt teaching to meet varied learning needs and abilities
• Maintain consistent routines and positive behaviour in the classroom
• Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
• Contribute to departmental planning and collaborative practices
• Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare

Ideal Maths Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Maths
• Confident teaching across KS3 and KS4
• Strong subject knowledge and secure classroom management skills
• Able to motivate learners of mixed abilities
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Proactive, reflective, and committed to high‑quality teaching
• Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being
