Job Description:
Level 3 Early Years Practitioner – Full-time, temporary role from April 2026 until June 2026, working 8am/10am to 4pm/6pm
This early years setting provides a warm, nurturing, and well‑organised environment where children benefit from caring adults, consistent routines, and engaging learning experiences. Staff work collaboratively to uphold high expectations, helping children feel safe, confident, and ready to explore. Pupils respond positively to purposeful early years provision that encourages communication, independence, and steady developmental progress.Duties as Level 3 Early Years Practitioner:

- Support children across the early years age range with high‑quality play‑based and structured learning
- Contribute to planning and preparation of age‑appropriate activities based on EYFS requirements
- Encourage early literacy, numeracy, communication, and social development
- Provide a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment throughout the day
- Help with observations, assessments, and progress notes for children
- Assist with daily routines including settling, toileting, transitions, and snack preparation
- Work collaboratively with early years colleagues to maintain consistent EYFS practice
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise child welfare
- Level 3 Early Years Practitioner qualification is essential
- Early years experience strongly preferred
- Warm, patient, and nurturing approach with young children
- Confident supporting early communication, play‑based learning, and developmental needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, proactive, and committed to high‑quality early years provision
- Able to work the required 8am/10am start and 4pm/6pm finish pattern
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting child well‑being
