Test Technician

Full Time Permanent

£28,000 - £32,000 per annum (DOE)

ReeVR Talent are looking for a skilled Test Technician to support the testing and inspection of Mechanical and Electrical products. The role of Test Technician involves carrying out mechanical and electrical testing, recording inspection results and ensuring products meet quality standards.

Attention to detail is important, particularly when visually inspecting components for surface defects.

Key Responsibilities for the Test Technician:

• As the Test Technician you will carry out mechanical and electrical inspection and testing of incoming components, sub-assemblies, and finished products.
• Use precision measuring equipment and electrical test equipment to verify product performance and compliance.
• Record and maintain accurate inspection and test results.
• Follow established inspection standards and documentation procedures.
• Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and organised working environment in line with 5S practices.

Skills and Experience

• Experience in mechanical and electrical testing of electromechanical products.
• Ability to read and interpret technical or CAD drawings.
• Familiarity with precision measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and time management abilities.
• Competent with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Experience creating inspection or test reports.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing practices such as 5S and visual management.
