Zünd Digital Cutter Operator – Night Shift
Location: Ashford, Kent
Shift: Monday – Friday, 5:00pm – 1:30am
Salary: Up to £33,000 (depending on experience)

A well-established print and display production company is looking for an experienced Zünd Digital Cutter Operator to join their production team on a permanent night shift in Ashford, Kent.

This role will involve operating a Zünd digital cutting system to produce high-quality point-of-sale displays, signage, and packaging components for a range of retail and brand clients. Working within a busy production environment, you will play a key role in ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard.

The Role

As a Zünd Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and running digital cutting jobs across a variety of substrates including board, vinyl, foamboard, and other display materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating and maintaining a Zünd digital cutting machine
• Preparing and setting up jobs using cutter guides and production files
• Ensuring accurate cutting, creasing, and routing across a variety of materials
• Monitoring quality throughout production runs
• Carrying out routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting where required
• Working closely with print and finishing teams to ensure smooth production flow
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment

What We’re Looking For

• Experience operating Zünd digital cutting systems (or similar digital cutters)
• Background in large format print, POS, signage, or display production
• Good understanding of different materials and cutting techniques
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
• Comfortable working a permanent evening/night shift
