Maths Teacher – Part-time, long-term temporary and ongoing role starting April 2026

- Teach part-time across KS3 and KS4, focusing on middle-ability groups
- Deliver well‑structured lessons using established curriculum plans
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet varied learning needs
- Maintain consistent behaviour expectations and a calm classroom environment
- Support pupils’ progress in numeracy, reasoning, and problem‑solving
- Provide verbal and written feedback to help pupils move forward
- Contribute to departmental planning and collaborative discussions
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with strong Maths teaching experience
- Confident teaching KS3 and KS4 Maths to middle‑ability pupils
- Effective classroom and behaviour management
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Able to motivate and support learners at different attainment levels
- Reflective, proactive, and committed to high‑quality teaching
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being
