Labels Print Finisher
Location: Royston Hertfordshire
Hours: Monday to Friday rotating shifts 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm
No nights no weekends no bank holidays
Salary: Around £29000 including shift allowance

We are working with a well established and growing label manufacturing business in Royston who are looking to add a Labels Print Finisher to their production team. This is a great opportunity to join a modern high quality print environment supplying premium labels into sectors such as cosmetics health drinks and pharma.

The business is also open to training someone on the Digicon if you already come from a print, labels or flexo background and are keen to move into digital finishing.

The role:
As a Labels Print Finisher you will be responsible for running digital finishing equipment and ensuring labels are finished to the highest possible standard before despatch. You will work closely with print packing and despatch to keep production flowing smoothly.

Responsibilities will include:

• Operating Digicon finishing equipment including varnish foiling lamination numbering and embellishments
• Setting up and running jobs to tight tolerances where attention to detail is critical
• Inspecting labels for quality and raising any issues early
• Working with a range of label materials and substrates
• Keeping work organised across multiple jobs and priorities
• Following health and safety and quality procedures at all times
• Supporting continuous improvement and suggesting better ways of working

What they are looking for:
They are happy to consider experienced Digicon Operators or candidates from a print labels or flexo printing background who are keen to be trained into Digicon and digital finishing.

You will also need:

• A strong eye for detail and quality
• Good organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple jobs
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
• The ability to work well in a team and also use your own initiative
