We are seeking an inspiring and well‑qualified Teacher of Design and Technology to join our vibrant and highly popular department from September 2026 or sooner helping to strengthen and further develop its continued success.  We are looking for a dynamic teacher who can deliver exciting, creative, and innovative lessons across KS3, GCSE and A Level, and who is committed to helping pupils develop confidence, curiosity, and a deep understanding of contemporary design and technology.

 

The curriculum is broad, ambitious, and forward‑looking, with a strong emphasis on resistant materials at Key Stage 3. We follow the AQA specifications at GCSE and A Level, and we aim to equip pupils with the skills and thinking needed for modern design and engineering pathways. A background in resistant materials, engineering or product design is desirable. Experience in CAD/CAM is essential, and familiarity with SolidWorks, 2D Design, or similar design software would be an advantage.
