English Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing from April 2026 A recent inspection highlighted a positive and nurturing school environment where pupils feel safe, supported, and motivated to succeed. Teaching is well organised, behaviour is managed effectively, and pupils benefit from a calm, inclusive atmosphere that promotes strong personal and academic development.Duties as English Teacher:
  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that support progress across relevant Key Stages.
  • Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress following school policies.
  • Create a structured and inclusive classroom environment that supports high expectations.
  • Differentiate lessons to meet varied learning needs.
  • Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives.
  • Support pupils in developing strong literacy, communication, and analytical skills.
Ideal English Teacher:
  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching English.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality lessons that promote pupil progress.
  • Effective classroom management with a calm, consistent approach.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively.
