Business Development Manager – Large Format, Signage & POS

I’m currently working with a well-established and growing large format print, signage and POS manufacturer based in the Manchester area, who are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to support continued expansion.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a financially secure, privately owned business that has invested heavily in its infrastructure, including recent expansion through the acquisition of an additional building. The business has a strong reputation in the market and is well-positioned for further growth.

This is a new business-focused sales role, targeting brands, retailers and agencies requiring large format print, signage, point of sale, vehicle graphics through to retail build solutions.

You will be responsible for:

• Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities
• Building relationships with brands, retail groups and marketing agencies
• Selling a range of manufactured solutions
• Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing deals
• Working closely with internal production and project teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Representing the business in a professional and consultative manner

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience in selling large format print, signage or POS solutions
• Strong track record in new business development
• Commercially driven, with a hunter mentality
• Confident, personable and able to build relationships at all levels
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, manufacturing-led environment
• Self-motivated, organised and target-driven
