Plasterer – Responsive Repairs
Location: Ealing
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £37,800 per annum Company Van & Fuel Card
Hours: 42.5 per week (Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm)
Build recruitment is looking for an experienced Plasterer to join our responsive repairs team in Ealing. You’ll carry out high?quality plastering repairs and finishing works in occupied social housing, helping ensure residents’ homes are safe, comfortable, and well maintained.
What you’ll be doing

• Completing responsive plastering repairs in occupied properties
• Carrying out patch repairs to walls and ceilings after leaks or work by other trades
• Applying full skims to walls and ceilings
• Making good around doors, windows, sockets, pipework and work areas
• Preparing surfaces to ensure smooth, durable finishes
• Mixing and applying plaster using correct tools and techniques
• Maintaining a clean, tidy workspace and protecting residents’ belongings
• Recording job details and materials using handheld devices
• Working respectfully and professionally in residents’ homes
• Identifying and reporting additional works, property concerns or safeguarding issues
• Adhering to all health & safety policies and procedures
• Participating in the out?of?hours emergency rota when required
• Providing excellent customer care at all times

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in domestic plastering repairs and maintenance
• Experience carrying out Artex repairs
• Full UK manual driving licence
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Strong problem?solving and fault?finding skills
• Excellent customer service skills, particularly in occupied homes
• Understanding of health & safety and safe working practices
• Ability to use handheld devices or job management systems
• Willingness to join the out?of?hours rota
