Up to £40,000 basic commission £5k Car Allowance

Are you a driven sales professional with experience in business development and a passion for building client relationships in the signage and large format industry?

 

We’re recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join growing manufacturer of signage and large format printed graphics in the Manchester area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a privately owned company. The Directors have a huge amount of industry knowledge and credibility., and since starting up, they have built an impressive operation and more importantly a great working culture - think close-knit, hands-on, and team-focused. Collectively, the team offers over 300 years of signage industry experience.

 

With their own manufacturing, finishing, and installation capabilities, its client base includes recognisable names across the retail, automotive through to councils.

 

The Role

This is a sales-focused role for someone who enjoys being out in the field, developing relationships and winning business. The expectation is for you to be in the office 2 days per week, UNLESS you’re out meeting clients and generating new opportunities.

 

You’ll be responsible for selling signage solutions direct to end users, identifying opportunities, building long-term relationships, and helping drive continued growth for the business.

 

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Proven sales / business development experience
  • A strong track record of selling into end users
  • A proactive and energetic approach
  • A positive attitude and the right team fit
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A full UK driving licence

 

Previous experience in signage would be highly advantageous, but the key requirement is a solid background in sales and the ability to win and grow your accounts.
