Exams Officer – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing role starting ASAP

- Manage the administration of all internal and external examinations.
- Liaise with exam boards, invigilators, teachers and senior staff to ensure timely arrangements.
- Organise exam timetables, seating plans and access arrangements.
- Prepare examination venues, materials and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with JCQ regulations and school policies.
- Process entries, amendments and certification accurately.
- Brief and support invigilators; oversee the secure storage and handling of exam papers.
- Manage results days, including distribution, queries and follow‑up actions.
- Maintain accurate records and provide reports as required.
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and ensure pupil confidentiality at all times.
- Previous experience in an Exams Officer or exams administration role is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Confident using MIS systems and digital administrative tools.
- Effective communication skills when liaising with staff, pupils and exam boards.
- Calm, reliable and able to manage confidential information appropriately.
- Proactive, adaptable and committed to maintaining high standards.
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being.
