Continuous Improvement Engineer

We’re recruiting for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to support operational excellence within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity to drive measurable improvements in quality, efficiency, and cost using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, while helping to embed a strong continuous improvement culture across the site.

Key Responsibilities for the Continuous Improvement Engineer: 

• Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity, flow, and operational performance

• Apply Lean tools (5S, VSM, standard work, visual management) to optimise processes

• Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality and production issues

• Track and report on key metrics such as OEE, cycle time, and cost savings

• Facilitate Kaizen events and CI workshops across multiple departments

• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to deliver sustainable improvements

• Coach and mentor colleagues on Lean principles and CI best practices

• Update process documentation and ensure compliance with quality standards

We’re looking for someone with experience in process optimisation within a manufacturing environment, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to driving change and continuous improvement.
