Year 3 Teacher – Part-time, long-term temporary role starting ASAP until the end of the academic year

• Teach a Year 3 class 2 to 3 days per week.
• Deliver engaging lessons using school planning frameworks where appropriate.
• Maintain strong behaviour management and positive classroom routines.
• Support pupils’ literacy, numeracy and wider curriculum progress.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet varied needs, including SEND.
• Provide feedback to support pupil development.
• Collaborate with phase colleagues to ensure consistent provision.
• Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare.

Ideal Year 3 Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with strong KS2 teaching experience.
• Confident managing behaviour and supporting pupils with mixed abilities.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Reflective, proactive and committed to high‑quality teaching.
• Reliable, adaptable and confident working part‑time across the week.
• Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being.
