Exam Invigilators – Part-time, starting May 2026

• Supervise pupils during examinations to ensure JCQ guidelines are followed
• Prepare exam rooms, papers and materials prior to sessions
• Assist with collecting, sorting and securing completed scripts
• Maintain a quiet, controlled environment throughout examinations
• Support pupils who require a reader, scribe or additional access arrangement
• Follow instructions from senior invigilators and exams officers
• Report any concerns, incidents or irregularities immediately
• Uphold safeguarding expectations and ensure pupil welfare at all times

Ideal Exam Invigilators:

• No experience required; full training will be provided
• Clear communication skills and confidence in following procedures
• Calm, reliable and professional approach
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work quietly and efficiently
• Willingness to act as a scribe or reader for pupils with access needs
• Good punctuality and commitment to agreed exam sessions
• Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well-being
