These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings. You will be supporting pupils in Finchley and the surrounding areas, delivering high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages.Duties as Maths Teacher:

• Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons using provided plans
• Teach a range of mathematical topics including algebra, geometry, number, and statistics
• Support pupils in developing strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Adapt teaching strategies to support learners of different abilities
• Assess and record pupil progress when required
• Contribute to departmental planning and collaboration during longer-term placements
• Help promote positive attitudes towards numeracy and independent learning

Ideal Maths Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge across the Maths curriculum
• Confident classroom and behaviour management abilities
• Ability to inspire and motivate pupils across a range of year groups
• Adaptable across varied school environments
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
