You will be supporting pupils in Enfield and the surrounding areas, delivering engaging Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.Duties as General Science Teacher:

• Deliver engaging Science lessons using provided plans
• Teach practical and theory-based content across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
• Support students in developing investigative and critical-thinking skills
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of mixed-ability groups
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies
• Assess and record pupil progress when required
• Contribute to departmental planning during longer-term placements
• Promote enthusiasm for scientific enquiry

Ideal General Science Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge across all three Science disciplines
• Confident classroom and behaviour management abilities
• Ability to inspire curiosity and engagement in secondary learners
• Flexible and adaptable across different school environments
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
