General Science Teacher – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately
These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings. You will be supporting pupils in Norwich and the surrounding areas, delivering engaging Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.Duties as General Science Teacher:

- Deliver engaging Science lessons using provided plans
- Teach practical and theory content across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Support students in developing scientific enquiry and investigative skills
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Adapt teaching methods to support mixed‑ability learners
- Assess and record pupil progress when required
- Contribute to departmental planning and collaboration during longer‑term placements
- Promote enthusiasm for scientific learning and critical thinking
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge across all Science disciplines
- Confident classroom and behaviour management abilities
- Ability to motivate and inspire learners across Key Stages
- Flexible and adaptable across different school environments
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
