These strengths create a supportive setting for a Supply Teacher joining the Year 2 team on a Thursday and Friday. Duties as Supply Teacher (Year 2):

• Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that follow the KS1 curriculum.
• Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour, and pupil engagement.
• Provide a consistent and calm classroom environment during the absence period.
• Mark work in line with school policy and provide constructive feedback.
• Communicate effectively with support staff and contribute to the wider school day.
• Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are upheld at all times.
• Support continuity of learning across the long-term cover period.

Ideal Supply Teacher (Year 2):

• QTS qualification and experience teaching within KS1.
• Confident delivering the Year 2 curriculum and adapting lessons when required.
• Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, positive approach.
• Reliable, organised, and committed to maintaining high standards.
• Able to build rapport quickly with pupils and staff.
• Passionate about providing high-quality learning experiences.
