SEMH Teacher – Full-time, long-term from September 2026 for the full academic year

  • Teach and support Year 7 pupils with SEMH needs.
  • Plan and deliver lessons tailored to learners with social, emotional, and behavioural challenges.
  • Implement behaviour-regulation strategies to maintain a calm and structured classroom.
  • Support pupils individually and in small groups to promote academic progress.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues to provide consistent support.
  • Contribute to creating a positive, safe, and encouraging learning environment.
Ideal SEMH Teacher:
  • QTS is essential for this SEMH Teacher role.
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEMH or challenging behaviour.
  • Confident behaviour management and resilience in high‑need settings.
  • Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
  • Calm, consistent, and reflective practice.
  • Commitment to helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.
