Cover Supervisor – Full-time supply from April 2026 until July 2026This secondary setting offers a calm and orderly environment where pupils benefit from clear routines and a supportive culture. • Deliver pre-prepared lessons to secondary pupils across a range of subjects.
• Maintain a purposeful learning environment and manage classroom behaviour.
• Support pupils in completing tasks set by the class teacher.
• Follow school policies and procedures to ensure consistency.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil engagement and progress.
• Supervise pupils during lessons, transitions, and at times during non-teaching periods.

Ideal Cover Supervisor:

• Previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils is desirable.
• Confident in managing behaviour and maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere.
• Able to engage a wide range of learners with differing needs.
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to follow instructions accurately.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive rapport with pupils.
• Suitable for individuals considering a future career in teaching or education support.
