Location: Walsall
Salary: £17.50 per hour
Hours: Monday–Thursday 7:54am–4:30pm, Early Finish Friday 1:30pm
Overtime: Paid at premium rates
Contract Type: Full-Time,  Temp - perm 

We are seeking skilled MMA Welders to join our growing team within the Defence sector, supporting the manufacture of high‑integrity nuclear components. This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically challenging, safety‑critical products while developing your career in a secure and expanding industry.

• Perform high‑quality MMA welding on 5–10mm gauge materials
• Work with carbon steel and stainless steel
• Produce welds to stringent inspection standards, including X‑ray testing
• Read and work from technical drawings
• Ensure all work meets Defence and Nuclear industry quality requirements
• Maintain a safe, clean and compliant working environment

• Proven experience as an MMA Welder
• Competence welding 5–10mm gauge carbon and stainless steel
• Ability to work to tight tolerances and high standards
• Experience within Defence, Nuclear or other regulated industries (advantageous but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• £17.50 per hour
