Job Title: TIG Welder (6G/2G)

Salary: £17.50 per hour Premium Overtime

Hours: Mon–Thu 7:54am–4:30pm Friday Early Finish 1:30pm Do you have experience in high-integrity pipework and pressure vessels? We are seeking a highly skilled TIG Welder to join our team, specialising in the fabrication of nuclear products for the Defence industry. This role requires precision welding to X-ray standards on both carbon and stainless steel in a regulated, high-standard workshop environment. The Role

• Welding Techniques: TIG welding on pressure vessels and pipework.
• Material: Working with Carbon and Stainless Steel.
• Gauge: Confident working on 5-10mm gauge materials.
• Quality Standard: All work is X-ray tested.
• Compliance: Adhering strictly to engineering drawings and technical specifications.

 Requirements

• Must hold 6G or 2G coding certifications (or have extensive experience in these positions).
• Proven experience in pipe work and pressure vessel fabrication.
• Experience working with Stainless Steel and Carbon steel in a high-precision setting.
• Ability to pass a mandatory trade test (X-ray/MPI).
