Job Title: Power BI Specialist

Location: Primarily remote with occasional UK travel

Role Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a Power BI Specialist to join a developing Business Intelligence function. This role will play a key part in delivering data-driven insights through high-quality dashboards and reporting solutions.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements and translate data into meaningful insights that support decision-making. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the growth of a data-led culture within a scaling organisation.

Key Responsibilities

BI Development & Delivery

• Design, develop, and maintain intuitive Power BI dashboards and reports
• Convert complex datasets into structured, usable data models

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements
• Translate business needs into technical BI solutions

Data & Governance

• Integrate Power BI with multiple data sources
• Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and security standards

Continuous Improvement

• Review report usage and identify opportunities for improvement
• Keep up to date with Power BI features and industry trends
• Contribute to ongoing BI strategy development

Experience

Essential

• 3 years’ experience using Power BI for reporting and visualisation
• Strong skills in DAX, Power Query, and data modelling
• Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong communication skills with non-technical stakeholders
