We have a brilliant opportunity to join a growing renewables business that’s making a real impact in the transition to low-carbon energy.

They’re expanding rapidly and need a Qualifying Electrical Supervisor to play a key role in maintaining quality, compliance, and technical standards across their installations. If you enjoy being out on site, taking ownership, and being the go-to technical expert, this role offers exactly that.

You’ll be working across a mix of sites, supporting engineers, carrying out inspections, and signing off work across Solar PV and heat pump installations. It’s a hands-on position with real responsibility and visibility in the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Acting as the Qualifying Supervisor for electrical works and holding responsibility for compliance
  • Signing off installations in line with current regulations
  • Carrying out site inspections and audits across multiple projects
  • Supporting engineers with technical guidance and problem-solving
  • Ensuring all work meets BS 7671 standards
  • Managing certification and maintaining accurate documentation

What we’re looking for

  • 18th Edition (BS 7671)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
  • 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a Qualifying Supervisor or similar role
  • Experience with Solar PV and/or heat pumps is highly desirable
  • Full UK driving licence

Salary

  • Up to £50,000 salary depending on experience
  • Company van 
  • Fuel card
