Locations: Merton & Sutton

Position: Daily Supply, Short-term, and Block Bookings

Salary: £150 - £180 per day (Experience Dependent)

The Opportunity

If you’re looking for a teaching role in a school that actually feels like a community, Merton and Sutton are where you want to be. Known for having some of the highest-performing schools in London and a more "leafy," relaxed pace, these boroughs are a favourite for a reason.

Whether you are looking for a fresh start this April or a strategic move for September, we have full-time and part-time roles across both Key Stages. We aren't looking for "cogs in a machine"- we are looking for teachers who want to make a real impact in supportive, well-resourced classrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Seamless Delivery: Execute pre-set lesson plans with precision, ensuring that learning objectives are met even in the absence of the permanent teacher.
  • Positive Climate: Establish immediate authority and rapport using positive behaviour management strategies aligned with school policy.
  • Marking & Feedback: Complete all marking for the day’s work, providing constructive feedback that allows the class teacher to transition back seamlessly.
  • Safeguarding: Maintain a vigilant approach to pupil welfare, adhering strictly to the safeguarding and "Keeping Children Safe in Education" protocols of each setting.

Person Specification:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or UK-based teaching experienced required.
  • Proven ability to "hit the ground running" in new environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour when representing the agency.
