Mechanical Technician

Location: Lasham

To carry out maintenance and operational support activities at a well-established facility, ensuring equipment and systems are safe, reliable, and efficiently maintained.

Key Responsibilities for Mechanical Technician:

• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance checks and repairs on mechanical equipment.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and servicing of new or existing systems.
• Support safe operation of plant equipment, including isolations and monitoring as required.
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and external service providers to maintain standards.
• Maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with procedures, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to general housekeeping and ensure work areas are safe and organized.
• Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues where needed.

Qualifications & Experience for Mechanical Technician:

• Relevant mechanical maintenance experience (apprenticeship or equivalent preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
• Experience with mechanical systems and equipment in an industrial setting.

Additional Information:

• Some weekend, evening, or holiday work may be required.
