Early Years Teacher – Full time fixed term from September 2026 for 1 academic term

Duties as Early Years Teacher:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Early Years lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Create a nurturing environment that supports children’s early development and learning.
• Use assessment to monitor progress and inform next steps.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and families to ensure consistency and strong communication.
• Establish clear expectations for behaviour, routines and positive learning habits.
• Contribute to the wider life of the early years setting where needed.

Ideal Early Years Teacher:

• Holds QTS or equivalent Early Years teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in Early Years with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Confident in planning sequential learning and adapting activities to support different needs.
• Skilled in building positive relationships with young children, families and colleagues.
• Able to create a safe, welcoming and stimulating learning environment.
• Strong communication, organisational and classroom‑management skills.
