Mechanical Engineer – Didcot

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established site based in Didcot. This is a great opportunity for an engineer looking for a stable role within a professional facilities management environment.

Salary: £36,000 per annum
Location: Didcot

Key responsibilities:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems

• Working on plant equipment including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, and basic HVAC systems

• Undertaking plumbing repairs and general mechanical works

• Completing plant room checks and ensuring all equipment is operating efficiently

• Supporting with fault finding and minor repairs across building services

• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations

• Keeping accurate records of maintenance tasks and compliance checks

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a mechanical or building services maintenance role

• Good understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance

• Experience working within commercial or facilities management environments

• Relevant mechanical or plumbing qualifications (desirable)

• Must be able to pass a basic DBS check
