The Opportunity

I’m currently working with a leading packaging manufacturer who are looking to add an experienced Flexographic Printer to their production team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business supplying high-quality flexible packaging to major brands, with long-term stability and strong earning potential.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for operating CI flexographic printing presses within a fast-paced production environment, ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.

Key responsibilities:

• Operating 8–10 colour CI flexo presses
• Setting up jobs, monitoring print quality, and making adjustments
• Working to production schedules and minimising downtime
• Carrying out routine checks and reporting faults
• Completing documentation and ensuring effective shift handovers
• Supporting training of junior staff where required
• Maintaining high standards in line with ISO, BRC and H&S procedures

What They’re Looking For

• Experience operating CI flexographic presses (essential – not stack)
• Background printing on films such as PE / OPP
• Experience with solvent-based inks and polymer plates
• Ability to run high-speed presses (450–650 m/min preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Team player with a proactive and reliable approach
• Experience with Miraflex, Soma or Allstein (advantageous)
• Knowledge of QA processes and colour measurement tools beneficial

This role is based in County  Tyrone in Northern Ireland, relocation is required for this position.
