The Opportunity
A well-established signage business is looking to recruit an experienced Sign Designer / Maker to join their in-house production team. This is a workshop-based role, offering the chance to work across the full process — from initial design through to final build and assembly.

The Role
You’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality signage, combining creative design skills with hands-on production expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing signage artwork for print and production
• Preparing files for print, vinyl cutting and CNC routing
• Producing signage including cutting, weeding, laminating and assembly
• Operating large format printers, plotters and laminators
• Working with materials such as acrylic, PVC, aluminium and vinyl
• Maintaining high production and quality standards

Software & Systems

• Adobe Illustrator (essential)
• CorelDRAW (preferred)
• Adobe Photoshop (basic knowledge)
• RIP software (Onyx, VersaWorks, Caldera or similar)
• CNC software (VCarve, Aspire, ArtCAM – advantageous)

• Proven experience in sign design and production
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality
• A hands-on approach with the ability to manage work from concept through to completion
