The Opportunity
A well-established signage manufacturer is looking to recruit a Planner / Scheduler to join their team. This is a key role within the business, supporting the smooth flow of projects from concept through to production, with a strong focus on efficiency, cost control and coordination across departments.

The Role
Working closely with contracts, production and purchasing teams, you’ll be responsible for planning jobs, building accurate bills of materials and ensuring projects are delivered in the most efficient and cost-effective way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaising with contracts teams to understand customer requirements
  • Working with production to identify efficient processes and materials
  • Coordinating with purchasing to ensure cost-effective sourcing
  • Creating and maintaining bills of materials within the ERP system
  • Accurately estimating production times and material requirements
  • Monitoring stock utilisation and minimising waste
  • Tracking and updating any changes during production
  • Identifying and reporting cost-saving opportunities

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in an admin, planning or scheduling role (ideally within signage or manufacturing)
  • Methodical approach with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow processes and work accurately
  • Good IT skills, with ERP system experience advantageous
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
