Art Teacher – Full-time, long-term from April to July 2026

  • Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons across the secondary age range.
  • Prepare high‑quality teaching materials and complete all required planning and marking.
  • Support pupils in developing creative skills, practical techniques, and artistic expression.
  • Maintain a positive and well‑managed classroom environment.
  • Assess progress and provide constructive feedback to help pupils achieve their potential.
  • Contribute positively to the wider department as required.
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities.
Ideal Art Teacher:
  • Qualified Teacher with experience teaching Art at secondary level.
  • Confident planning and delivering creative, inspiring lessons.
  • Skilled at managing behaviour and supporting pupils’ engagement.
  • Strong organisational skills, including marking and assessment.
  • Able to build rapport with pupils and encourage artistic confidence.
  • Positive, reliable, and committed to high‑quality teaching.
  • Flexible and able to work effectively as part of a team.
