Multi Skilled MECH Biased Engineer
Colindale – £43,000 per year
We are looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer with a mechanical bias to join our team in Colindale. The role focuses on providing planned and reactive mechanical and multi-skilled maintenance and repairs to client sites, ensuring high standards of service delivery, compliance, and client satisfaction. The role will also support the Account Manager with contract delivery and occasional cover across other sites as required.
Key Tasks
• Carry out effective maintenance, repair, and operation of site M&E plant, equipment, and fabric services
• Manage the CAFM system to monitor staff performance and service delivery
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001/14001 Quality Management System and manage QHSE responsibilities on site
• Organise and assist with reactive repairs to M&E systems
• Prioritise and delegate reactive and planned maintenance tasks to achieve optimum service levels
• Ensure Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out according to schedules and industry standards
• Supervise specialist service contractors, including induction, minor works, and service report management
• Formulate, assess, and validate risk assessments and method statements
• Attend monthly client meetings to review contract performance and team meetings including toolbox talks
• Ensure staff training and competency requirements are met
• Provide quotations to clients when required
• Be accessible for out-of-hours queries to support operations
• Conduct OP61 & OP63 quality audits on mobile sites and close out any non-conformances
• Implement operational processes to improve contract efficiency and develop innovative tools and methods for maintenance
• Apply organisational policies and procedures in all tasks
Decision Making & Budgetary Control
• Report to the Account Manager
• Decisions should align with completing key tasks and objectives set by the Contract Manager
