Job Title: Multi Trade OperativeMulti Trade Operative - CornwallWe are working with a busy and reputable contractor to recruit an experienced Multi Trade Operative to deliver responsive maintenance and repairs on MOD (Ministry of Defence) properties across Cornwall.This role involves working within occupied and void military housing, where professionalism, reliability, and respect for residents are essential. You will be customer-facing, ensuring a high standard of work while maintaining a safe and secure working environment.
  • Attending properties across Cornwall to carry out responsive maintenance and repairs
  • Completing a variety of trade tasks including:
    • Carpentry repairs (doors, locks, kitchens, fencing)
    • Basic plumbing (tap changes, leak repairs, sanitary ware)
    • Tiling and patch repairs
    • Painting and decorating
    • General property maintenance
  • Diagnosing faults and completing repairs on first visit where possible
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations
  • Working in occupied MOD homes, maintaining professionalism at all times
  • Accurately recording works completed and reporting to your supervisor
  • Driving a company van safely and responsibly
You will be on a contract paid at £22ph Umbrella CIS or PAYE. What’s on Offer:
