• Deliver engaging lessons across Lower Key Stage 2 in line with the national curriculum
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well‑managed classroom environment
• Support pupils’ academic progress and development of key skills
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
• Differentiate lessons to support pupils with a range of abilities
• Maintain clear routines and high expectations for behaviour
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum planning and consistency
• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and personal development
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and parents where required
• Uphold safeguarding, welfare, and health and safety responsibilities at all times

Ideal Lower Key Stage 2 Teacher:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching in Lower Key Stage 2
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to motivate and engage pupils of varying abilities
• Organised, reliable, and committed to a long‑term role
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
