This Teaching Assistant role within a Further Education setting offers the opportunity to work full time on a long-term, ongoing basis, supporting learners in a structured and nurturing environment. The Teaching Assistant will work closely with teaching staff to help learners remain engaged, supported, and motivated throughout their learning programmes. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people or adults in FE and seeking stability with an immediate start.Duties as Teaching Assistant (Further Education):

• Provide in-class support to learners during lessons and activities
• Support learners on a one-to-one or small group basis as directed
• Encourage engagement, independence, and positive learning behaviours
• Assist learners with organisation, focus, and task completion
• Support learners with additional needs to access the curriculum
• Help prepare learning materials and resources
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams
• Monitor learner progress and provide feedback to tutors
• Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
• Uphold safeguarding, welfare, and health and safety responsibilities at all times

Ideal Teaching Assistant (Further Education):

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or support role within education or FE
• Understanding of supporting learners with a range of needs
• Calm, patient, and supportive approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive and professional relationships with learners
• Reliable and committed to a full-time, long-term role
