This outstanding primary school in Roehampton are looking for a class teaching assistant to work within KS2 starting in September.   

The Role

The school are looking for a recent graduate to join them as a classroom Teaching Assistant starting in September. You will be based within the classroom providing learning support to pupils working at all levels. You will lead small groups in reading, literacy and maths as directed by the class teacher.  Your role will include supporting the teachers with administrative duties, preparing lessons and activities and covering break duties. 

The school are interested in applications from graduates with excellent literacy and numeracy skills, who are looking towards a career in education. The role will start in September and continue for the whole academic year.

The 3 form-entry school is based in Roehampton and is a very popular within the local community. With a focus on catholic faith, the school wants to see all pupils’ progress regardless of their starting point. Pupils are very well behaved and there is good support from families to ensure their children enjoy their education and become confident and positive members of the community. There is an established leadership team in place at the school and there are good opportunities for training and development for staff.
