• Deliver engaging and well-structured Music lessons using pre-planned resources
• Teach Music across Key Stage 3 and, where required, Key Stage 4
• Encourage pupil participation, creativity, and confidence in practical and theoretical music
• Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
• Follow school behaviour policies, routines, and safeguarding procedures

Ideal Music Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Music education
• Confidence managing classrooms and engaging secondary-aged pupils
• A flexible, reliable, and adaptable approach to supply teaching
• Good communication and behaviour management skills
• Willingness to work across different school environments
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
• A positive and professional attitude as a Music Teacher
