Electromechanical Assembler 

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We are recruiting for an experienced Electromechanical Assembler to join a growing manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Electromechanical Assembler with experience in mechanical and electronic assembly to work within a fast-paced engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities for the Electromechanical Assembler

  • Assemble products, tanks, chassis, panels and associated assemblies to engineering specifications.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, bills of materials and assembly instructions.
  • Raise purchase requisitions and support parts management activities.
  • Check incoming goods for accuracy, quantity and version control.
  • Operate ERP systems to manage manufacturing orders and production documentation.
  • Support spare parts orders, tooling setup and production equipment maintenance.

The Electromechanical Assembler will need to meet the following key requirements

Previous experience as an Electromechanical Assembler or similar manufacturing/engineering role.
Ability to read engineering drawings and follow technical instructions.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience working to production deadlines.
Good communication skills and a team-focused approach.
Computer literate, with barcode scanning experience desirable.
Root cause analysis experience.
Experience within electronics, electromechanical assembly,
Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
