Class Teacher – Part-time, long-term temporary and ongoing from September 2026
This Class Teacher role is based within a primary setting where pupils benefit from a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Teaching is thoughtfully planned to help pupils build knowledge progressively, while staff work collaboratively to ensure consistency across year groups. Leaders promote a positive ethos, clear expectations, and strong relationships, creating a calm and engaging environment where pupils feel safe and motivated to learn.Duties as Class Teacher:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils across a range of ages and abilities
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and wellbeing
  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress in line with school expectations
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and effective classroom management
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity of learning
  • Contribute to planning, meetings, and wider school life on a part-time basis
  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and follow all school policies
Ideal Class Teacher:
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Has experience teaching across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
  • Is confident delivering the primary curriculum across different year groups
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and adaptability
  • Communicates effectively with pupils, colleagues, and parents
  • Is organised, flexible, and committed to supporting pupil progress
  • Can commit to a part-time, long-term ongoing role from September 2026
